I Wish It Was 1978
Do you ever think back to a time in your life where everything was perfect? For me, I think 1978 was it. I was 11 years old, we didn’t have microwaves, remote controls, the internet, good hair or wireless anything. Women wore gouchos, halter tops and guys wore Levi corduroys with a big-handled plastic combs in the back pocket, the bigger the cooler. The Yankees were world champions, Ron Guidry and Nolan Ryan were the greatest pitchers alive and the Oakland Raiders were still a force to be reckoned with on the gridiron.
Talk To Us, People!
One of the reasons we started this blog, was so that our friends and family could peer into our lives a bit and feel still a part of it without the disconnect due of the geographic distance. While we enjoy giving you a voyeuristic glimpse into our lives, sharing photos, posting thoughts and ideas, it becomes meaningless unless we actually know what YOU think.
The point of a conversation is to converse, otherwise it’s a lecture.
This is an interactive web site, we say something, you say something (if you so choose). One of the reason we went to a blogging platform, was for the interaction. I know, I know…I don’t post enough photos, and I’m sorry. But hey, photos take a while to collect and a little extra time to post, so we can’t make them available as often as we like.
I guess what I’m trying to say is, “Folks, use the comment feature, if for nothing else to let us know you stopped by.” You don’t need to make your comment a grand thesis (it won’t be graded anyway), or even spelled correctly (we promise not to laugh…okay maybe a little), but the point is, let us know you enjoy this, tell us you came by, but for goodness sakes, JUST SAY SOMETHING!
