Congratulations. You've found some older stuff.

A Very Busy Tooth Fairy

Missing Tooth Exciting news this past week, we’re missing 3 teeth. Last Thursday, Sara lost yet another tooth, I think this makes nine now, and on Friday, Kyle lost his first front tooth. Of course, he had a little help from his friends at school, who explained to him the delicate art of tooth-twisting. Then, Saturday morning, just as the Tooth Fairy was getting back to her chores and Papa Fairy was pressure washing the deck, Kyle lost his other front tooth and the lisp ensued.

With all these missing teeth, cost of living increases, inflation and the 28% tax bracket, the Tooth Fairy is considering taking a second out on the Fairyland Homestead, but at today’s rates…..sheesh! (Thanks Alan Greenspan).

Speaking of fairies, this past week the entire first grade class put together a musical about fairy tales called “Lemonade”, both Kyle and Sara had background vocal and choreographed arm waving duties.

In addition, Sara created a drawng of King Tut, while studying ancient Egypt at school, and it was chosen to be displayed in the City of San Antonio’s School Art Gallery display for 2006. Quite the honor! And a very proud Mom and Dad!

To see all of the action, we’ve added yet even more photos, catch them here.

When You’ve Got Life Going On…

…It’s really tough to keep things updated. I know it’s been quite some time since our last entry, but it’s just been a very busy, busy few months, weeks go by and pretty soon a month and before you know it, you can’t remember anything. Okay, well maybe that’s just middle age creeping in, but I’m calling it “busy” darnit! Yeah, that’s it…we’re busy.

Anyway, enough excuses, we recently enjoyed a weekend away with our friends The Ross’ at Garner State Park camping area. We enjoyed a pleasant time with no TV, no cell phones, no computers, no sleep. But it was fun. Here’s some photos.
